printer misbehaving

please note message I received from student in the 33-222 Athena cluster
regarding printer daedalus. The message claims to have been sent Thursday,
but I just got it this morning (Monday).
Phyllis,
Daedalus does not appear to be correctly reading and/or returning the
paper size to various software packages - i.e. Frame. This just started
happening this afternoon, because I printed something with Frame earlier and it
worked just fine. Now, I get this error about the printer not having the right
paper size (which, of course, it does). When I print to a different printer
(electra in 37-3??), it works just fine.
