I have an e-mail transmission question. Recently I created some business
cards and wanted to include my MIT e-mail address: mjbelson@mit.edu --
the machine I was using to do this did not have an "@" key so when I created
the cards I used the "%" key, so that my e-mail address appears as
mjbelson%mit.edu on these cards. I know for the purposes of e-mailing
WITHIN the institute this presents no problem as my name mjbelson would
be sufficient. What concerns me is whether incoming e-mail from OUTSIDE
the institute that is addressed mjbelson%mit.edu will also get to me.
Thanks for responding to this inquiry. Mark Belson, aka (ordinarily)
mjbelson@mit.edu
