The following shutdown request for Bldgs. 44, 45 and 48 on 4/1 is for
your information and comment. Would you please let me know if this has
your approval or not.

Bldg: 44
System: Normal Electrical Power: Back-up generators will be
used between 7AM and 9AM.
Date: 4/1
Day: Tuesday
Time: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Duration: 2 hours
Reason: Power plant modifications
Effect: Momentary loss of power: access controls, building power,
elevators, computers, telephones and lighting; air: supply
ventilation, supply cooling, supply heating, exhaust laboratory
general exhaust, toilet exhaust, compressed control and
compressed lab air as well as condensate return (steam).
Note: Back-up generators will be used during 7 - 9 AM.
There will be a slight interruption of power
(approximately 15 - 30 seconds) during this
changeover and again at 9:00 AM when the normal
electrical power will be turned back on.

general exhaust, compressed control, compressed lab and lab
vacuum air as well as condensate return (steam).
Note: At 7:00 AM there will be a brief interruption of power
(approx. 15 - 30 seconds) while the building is transferred to
the generator power.
There will be another brief interruption at 9:00 AM
while the building is transferred back to normal power.

With the exception of the WAVE TANK equipment, the
entire building will be repowered during the period from
7:00 AM until 9:00 AM (brief interruption of power at 7:00 AM
and then again at 9:00 AM)
