Hello:
Recently you have installed a number of new Sparc 4 workstations at Building 48
in place of old DecStations. Although these computers are much faster, we have
a lot of problems with new monitors. These monitors are blur, flick and in
general have much poor resolutions than the old ones. I personaly have headacle
and eye problems working on these machines. I can not work on these machine for more
than an hour. This monitor problem was even acknowledged by the manufacturer, and
some new machines come with instructions on how to decrease the degree of flick,
but I do not know how useful these instructions are when the hardware itself
seems to have flaws.
