Dear Hotline,
there is a problem with berkeley.mit.edu in 66-070.
The console window displays the following message:
le0: No carrier - cable disconnected or hub link test disabled?
and I cannot get to berkeley over the network e.g.
$ ping berkeley
PING berkeley.mit.edu: (18.63.0.88): 56 data bytes
----berkeley.mit.edu PING Statistics----
5 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
This problem has apparently occured a couple of times over the last
few weeks. warwick.mit.edu has also had similar problems.
Could you please look into this for me, and let me know how you get
on - thanks.
