I've noticed that the machines on the wall facing the corridor and the
far wall away from the entrance of the e51 cluster seem to spend excessive
time running off disk -- also, you get reduced color capabilities when
running, say, Netscape, on top of emacs. All in all, it's often like using
one of the old Dec stations. Any idea what's up with this?? (it seems a lot
like an insufficient memory problem, but why would these machines be
different from the others in the cluster?)
