in oct/nov, i had lots of problems sending out mail from sgi's.  i
don't know off hand whether m37-312-14 is an sgi, but the mail was
actually delivered more than 1.5 months after i sent it.

i know it's annoying and you guys have a patch (supposedly) but do you
understand that i have looked like a complete idiot for three months
because stuff gets sent and makes no sense because it's way out of date?

                                                   FORWARDED ANNOUNCEMENT

The Lemelson-MIT Prize Program supports, encourages and rewards
invention and innovation through public education and outreach
activities and the dispensation of three prizes. We are seeking a
student to provide support for various program projects.

Student applicants must be well organized, detail-orientated and able
to work independently. S/he must possess excellent verbal and written
skills and be able to perform research using print and on-line
media. Strong Macintosh computer skills are required and knowledge of
Filemaker Pro 2.0, Excel and Word preferred.  A commitment of twelve
to fifteen hours per week (distributed over at least three days) is
expected and the rate of pay will be commensurable with experience.
