I am interested in information regarding the possibility of "athenizing"
our laboratories Sun Workstations.

In particular, I would like to understand better what it means in terms of
our system's operation (speed, reliance on network connectivity or other
athena resources), the role of the lab members in system administering
the machines relative to the role of athena staff, costs for installation,
maintainence and site licenses for software (such as Matlab)...

any info you can send me or a contact person I can speak to would be
appreciated... (Addresses and phone #'s are below)

Thank you
Tom Mullen
