Hi all,
I had answered a 1410 hardware related call regarding the SGI (strobe)
located at the above address, failing to activate. I have troubleshooted this
system down to what I think is a problem leading up to the 2 jacks at this
location.
The fist jack labeled (4-109-1 or 4-409-1) has a solid link light present on
the transceiver. We have tested the transceiver on another system and it
works fine. To simplify matters I ran a direct utp cable from the sgi cpu
to the jack listed above.
The HP 4SI printer (Strobe-p) is also not printing jobs. This is connected
(straight utp) to teh jacj labeled (4-109-2 or 4-409-2). All utp cables have
been replaced etc...
The sgi strobe has an IP address of 18.53.0.26
The HP 4SI has an IP address of 18.53.0.27
Could you please look into this situation.
Thanks Much,
--Lou
