W20-575-106 and -107, upon login, report "can't connect to
/usr/etc/fam" (with or without customizations). Among other
things, this seems to make them think their cameras are not
hooked up (no camera icon, and the capture camera option is insensitive),
and possibly is screwing up the window manager (random black blotches?)
as well.
