Trouble with Printer queue on NW12-326-risk1

Howdy guys,
Wanted to let ya know that this newly installed Sparc4 machine has something
wrong with its access to the local or any printer queue. This used to be a IBM
RS6000 and I think the hostname or hesiod info hasn't been changed since this
baby was installed.
On loging on, this message pops up in the console window:
zwgc: unable to resolve hostname, %canon% will be wrong in subscriptions.
and attempts to print either from xterm (even a simple lpr) or from within
some program (xmh or xrn) gave the same err message, namely:
Printer queue is disabled.
Would greatly appreciate if you could look into this.

p.s. I guess this machine's hostname is now a misnomer... :^)
