Unexplained disapperance of files from home directory on talos....

Since Friday Feb 8 I have noticed that approx. 30% of the files in my home
directory have been missing with NO explanation.
I am confident that I have not been over quota, and NO ONE else has access to
my account. I've NEVER disclosed my password to anyone.
All my .files are missing and ALL personal files from my home directories.
Due to the loss of .files and customizations needed for my classwork, I am
unable to do classwork on athena, because certain commands such as "setup 2.40"
are not recognized.
Files in the sub-directories are OK.
Could you please restore my files from your most recent backup from before
Feb 8th, 1991. I appreciate your help in this matter.
