sum printer problem

We are having a problem with the sum printer, in 20B-219. The printer
is just not responding at all, though it says `000 READY' on its
display.
When I did an `lpq -Psum` I got:
athena% lpq -Psum
IO.MIT.EDU... Printer Error: may need attention! (Not Responding for 1 minutes)
