the new ss20 Joe delivered a week or two ago doesnt work. Both
network and cdrom installs fail. The former with an asyncronous
fault, and the latter with a watchdog reset. this seems like a
hardware problem. Can someone look at it.
Oh, I was trying to move some of the memory around, because I recall
that ss20's have weird requirements about which slots the memory goes
in. I never finished this, because while I had the machine off to
movea SIMM, it decided to stop producing video output. Please look at
htat too.
It is reasonably important that this machine get fixed quickly,
because it is one of only 2 spare ss20's we have, and the other one is
not terribly usable for other reasons.
This is the ss20 on the table under the phone in the w20 machine room.
