Please reply to this immediately, even if just to confirm that someone
"official" is listening to hotline mail. I have sent several messages
recently to Rita and others concerning our printer (luna in 54-419).
At the end of December it was supposedly repaired, but it still has
the same problem as before. I returned from vacation at the end of
January and replied to some mail which had been sent concerning the
repair. I sent a second query a week or so ago. I have not received
an answer.

Your mail said we needed to buy another maintenance kit for the
printer, and that the problem with blank spots on the page would then
go away. Doing a maintenance to get rid of the problem was the first
thing I tried (in December), but there was no change in the print
quality, so we called hotline. I believe that in this case replacing
the maintenance kit (or at least our cost for buying another one), if
it indeed needs to be done again, is your or DEC's responsibility,
since if the kit I installed needs replacement now it must have been
damaged by whatever it is that you repaired (the printer has been
essentially unused since the problem happened, since print quality is
so bad).

The printer is now useless; our cluster doesn't have a printer and
hasn't since the Fall. Please act on this immediately.
