Two problems, possibly unrelated. The system was reinstalled
yesterday (Tuesday the 3rd) because of an earlier problem.

1) The camera wrecks the session display in a very very odd way. When
I (also tried by another user) open the camera by clicking on the
icon, after that mouse motions make rectangles and paralellograms
appear away from the mouse cursor in a way which is hard to describe,
though somewhat interesting and artistic. Impossible to work with,
though. 'capture' never appears.

2) I tried to run 'cerius2' from the molsim locker. I believe I used
it on this machine in the past, but am not certain. I got the error:

GL: this machine has the wrong /usr/lib/libgl.so installed (is:NG1, needs:GR2)
...Exiting to avoid grief.

/usr/lib/libgl.so is a symlink to a file in a directory whose name I
don't recall but which included 'NG1' in its name, with a similar
directory with 'GR2' in its name in its parent directory.

Any clues are welcome.

Thanks,
Craig
