Um, if I recall correctly, Greg shifted the running of mkserv (yes I
know mkserv wasn't run, keep reading) before the update of the kernel
in the release process. Unless I'm very confused, mkserv requires
that the last line in /etc/athena/version not be a "version update"
line. This means that /etc/athena/version must be updated before the
kernel is tracked in. Greg, does this all sound right to you?
Certainly the amount of time that normally elapses here isn't 4 hours,
but it seems possible that something that could extend this period
(like maybe a network problem?)
