System: All normal electrical power; steam will need to be
secured in affected buildings
Date: 7/26 PM - 7/27 AM
Day: Friday PM and Saturday AM
Time: 6:30 PM (7/26) - *9:30 AM (7/27)*formerly 4:30 PM
Duration: 15 hours (formerly 10 hours)
Reason: To complete work started during shutdown of
7/12-13/96 (Replacment of old high voltage switch that
affects all of the above-named buildings.)
Effect: Loss of all power (access controls, bldg. power,
elevators, computers, telephones, lighting and corridors/
stairs); chilled water;(Air) supply ventilation, supply
cooling, supply heating, exhaust laboratory, exhaust
general, exhaust toilet and compressed control;(Steam) high,
medium and low pressure steam and condensate return.
