Carlton called in a service call this morning for the printer Cyphus
in room 3-462. It was getting an "18 Upper MIO" error. Making sure the
printer was online, I sent a print job to it. The Athena station reported
that it had been sent out satisfactorily, but nothing happened on the printer
end.

The printer had a lower MIO card that had an AppleTalk port and
an upper MIO card with a BNC and a UTP ethernet port. I did not have
a combined BNC/UTP ethernet board in stock and have been unable to get them
for some months. Instead I replaced both cards with one that had all three
previously mentioned ports and inserted it into the lower MIO slot. It needs
to be configured in order to access.

Once the "18 Upper MIO" error went away, it got a "User Maintenance"
message. It has 523,450 pages on it. I remember doing a kit on this a couple
of months ago. Was the message reset at that point? I was unable to do so
because of the menu lockout.
