To whom it may concern:
I am writing to request information on addressing a problem with
Prof. Jack Howard's Athena email. I realize that it may be either a
network or an application related problem, but would appreciate any
assistance your office can offer.
When Prof. Howard selects Print from the menu bar at the top of his
screen to print out an email message he has received, only part of the text
gets printed. It appears that the Print command is for some reason
recognizing and printing only the text that appears on the screen at the
time the printout is requested and omitting that which is not visible.
Although I have used both Eudora and Tech Mail from Macintosh and
PC platforms, I have never seen this problem before and unfortunately have
no experience in dealing with Sun computers or Athena.
Once again, any assistance your office can offer would be much
appreciated. Thank you!
