The following is information pertaining to the requested shutdowns for
Blgs. 1, 3 & 5 for your review and approval. Please advise via return
e-mail or telephone me at 8-6651 if these are acceptable. Thanks.

Building: 1, 3, 5 (d'Arbeloff Lab)
System: Low Pressure steam - no heat
Date: 5/1/96
Day: Wednesday
Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Duration 8 hours
Reason: To Tie into exiting lines. Shut off valve 3T in valve
chamber. (Bldg. 3 - motorized valve).
Effect: Loss of heat

Building: 1, 3, 5 (d'Arbeloff Lab)
System: Chilled Water - no air conditioning
Date: 4/29/96
Day: Monday
Time: 6:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Duration: 6 hours
Reason: Need to tie in existing lines.
Effect: No chilled water to 1-103, 104, 106, 107, 108, 110, 112
and 115.
The above shutdown is fine by 1410.
Maryam, there is a class in 1-115 at 1pm they may have to prop the doors
open. Also if you have a problem with the shutdown get in touch with
Phys Plant.

JJ--the contractor called late yesterday afternoon and asked if they
started this work at 6:00 AM and were out no later than 12 noon on
Monday, 4/29 if this would be all right. Since Maryam is out until
sometime next week, I spoke w/Chad who felt it would be ok.
Please advise and thanks.
(This is what I had called you about yesterday afternoon, but we kept
missing each other.)
