From klee.mit.edu, the workstation in my office (E40-342D), I tried
to print a mail message on 'nil' using:
show cur | lpr -Pnil
I got a sequence of error messages:
Lost connection to printer....
Lost connection to printer....
Lost connection to printer....
Lost connection to printer....
Sorry about that... I just discovered I had an error in one of my
kernels, and discovered that upon entering promiscuous mode my kernel
started sending out DEST. UNREACH. packets.
I won't enable promiscuous mode on that kernel until the problem has
been fixed (I figured out the cause, and will be re-configuring and
re-compiling that kernel).
