I sent this email this AM and thought I would pass along some add'l info. The
athena printer at WHOI, scallop, cannot be printed to directly from the athena
workstations at WHOI. The msg "printer queue disabled" appears when you attempt
to lpr. However, one of the students here discovered that if one telnets from
the athena workstation (or rlogins from a non-athena workstation), to
pesto.mit.edu or to alfredo.mit.edu, the usual print command (lpr) works just
fine.
