Reason: Remove piping in demolition area in basement
Effect: Loss of compressed lab air and natural gas

System: Air Handler 1 - roof (relates to AAALAC report)
Date: 3/20/96
Day: Wednesday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 12 noon
Duration: 5 hours
Reason: Main disc boot deteriorated--needs to be replaced by
dome sheetmetal
Effect: Shutdown of supply-ventilation, supply cooling, supply
heating and exhaust-general.
Critical
Building: 68 - process hot water
System: Tank #1, process hot water heater. Hot process water
system will remain on line, heater #1 will not be available
for back-up if #2 fails.
Date: 3/21/96
Day: Thursday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Duration: 8 hours
Reason: Patch liner - note confined space entry.
Effect: Tank #1 process hot water heater. *Hot process water
system will remain on line, heater #1 will not be available
for backup if #2 fails.
Building: 54-328, 331, toilets and the recessed drinking fountain
in corridor - 54-300 CA
System: Hot and cold water. Also the cold water service to the
drinking fountain. Note: valves orange tagged above
ceiling men's room (54-331 are #44 and #42.)
Date: 3/25/96 - 3/29/96
Day: Monday
Hours: 8:00 A - 3:00 PM
Duration: 5 days
Reason: To renovate the mean's and women's toilets/drinking
fountain (per ADA regulations).
Effect: Loss of hot and cold domestic water for #328 & #331
restrooms.
