Boston-Bruins.mit.edu (18.72.0.78, in E40-342C) has a busted mouse. The
problem has been intermitent for the past couple of months, but now I
can't get it to work at all. The problem: the mouse simply doesn't work.
The mouse sprite doesn't move, and button clicks don't do anything. This
almost never happens during a login session, usually I come in and find it
like that when no one is logged in.
I used to be able to get the mouse to work by rebooting the machine.
Sometimes it took 2 or 3 reboots, but it always worked eventually -- until
now. Repeated reboots (>5) do nothing. The machine is essentially
useless (for X anyway).
