I was editing a file for my thesis when the filesever went down (about 3:30
Thursday afternoon, Jan. 17). I logged out since the server was down (and
I knew the litte bit of editting I did wouldn't be saved) but when I logged
back on later, the file was gone completely - not even an old copy exists!
Could you please restore this file for me using a backup copy prior to
today (since I'm not sure what the heck happened today). The file is
simul.c and is located in the following directory: /network/compressed
My user name is maurn
If you could, please restore it for me as soon as possible, my thesis
is due next week! Thanks a lot.
Oh, it's possible that the file may exist in compressed form, in which
case it would be called simul.c.Z
