Frank from Decision One was unable to fix pickled-herring, a
RISC/6000 in the SIPB office.

He replaced the mother board, but this didn't work: the system
is still unable to find its keyboard and now fails to find its hard
disk. He ordered a new hard disk, but has no idea what to do about
the keyboard.

We noticed that the keyboard doesn't ever flash its LEDs, so
it is probably not getting power. Charles (mycroft) points out that
a power supply failing could explain both of these problems.
Personally, I don't think the disk is bad; it's just incredibly
unlikely that the disk and keyboard would fail at the same time.
