I got a call about the HP LaserJet 4si at the Baker House front desk
Monday afternoon. The message I had gotten was a "79 Service" error,
which points to a Formatter PCA. We expect our Formatter to be in Tuesday
morning.
I went over to Baker to check it out anyway. The student to whom
I spoke (James?) said that the problem had been the 79 Service and also
an inability to access the printer via Macs on ResNet. Mac users were
able to print by telnetting to Athena and printing that way, but not
directly.
I am still planning on replacing the Formatter when it arrives, but I
do not know if thAt will fix the Mac access problem. Any ideas?

P.S. This printer was also looked at ~a month ago for problems that I don't
know about. I need to talk to Scott about this.
