something's wrong with the keyboard or computer at w20-575-93
it was beeping continously and the xlogin screen appeared to be recieving an
infinite stream of "g"s
i rebooted the workstation, maybe that'll fix it temporarily, but it was quite
intrusive in the cluster and if it recurs it would be nice if it was shut down
or fixed before the users go insane.
