Ah! This one's a bit tricky. I had the feeling something was wrong but
couldn't quite pinpoint it, but I just worked out what it is:
The left mouse-button sometimes (maybe 20% of the time) produces a click
when you release it as well as when you push it. This also means that it
doesn't record the fact that you're holding down the button in between
press and release. I think you can push hard on the button to stop this
effect, but you don't always remember to do this, since most people only
push down enough to get the clicking sound out of the mouse.
