Hello there,
A user came with the problem of an SGI's / directory being full.
Here is the results of df and various du's:
athena% df -k
Filesystem Type kbytes use avail %use Mounted on
/dev/root efs 969857 969628 229 100% /
athena% du -s -k /tmp /var/tmp
100 /tmp
653 /var/tmp
(/usr/tmp was pointing to /var/tmp so it's space was 1)
oh, and
athena% ls /
CDROM dev lost+found proc tmp var
Mail dumpster mit sbin u zbt
afs etc mnt srvd unix
bin floppy opt stand ups_data
debug lib os swap usr
I didn't think it was wise to have the user go look for the culprit
disk-eater, so I thought I'd report it to you guys. Can you look into it?
Thanks!
