Tom Krall just brought something to my attention that might explain
why so many of these machines are experiencing this problem at one
time. With the recent update going out to the field, theoretically
the machines in 2-032 should update and then reapply the mkserv mae
changes. If for some reason this didn't work properly, that could
explain why some of MAE's AppleTalk materials are missing on the local
disk for so many machines. Assuming for now that this is the case,
then for the workstations that jeff@astron reported I'd suggest going
through the normal process of reinstalling, rebooting an additional
time (*VERY IMPORTANT*), and then applying the mkserv changes.
Watch for any error messages coming out of mkserv to see if the
modification succeeded.
