Hi Rachel -
The problem is that people are killing vold process, it needs to
be restarted by loging in as root and typing vold& then logout
of root. Someone from our group will check on #6.
Thanks
JJ

Hiya JJ,
We are having trouble with teh SS5 in NW12, namely nw12-sun6. Its not bringing
the Xlogin window and if rebooted, its not able to find some files in /srvd dir.
I think this is most probably due to the system update released on Monday and
might be solved by a system reload. Now only if I had a Sun floppy for that
purpose :^)
Thanks for the help with the floppy drive problem. All the workstations not
reading floppy needed the vold process to be restarted...
Have fun!
Bilal
