We have been informed by Phy Plant operations of
that they will be turning off power to areas of
B66 this Saturday, 1/12 between the hours of
7am and 5pm.
Outages in each area will last 1/2-1 hour while
they service and test the main breakers.
I have arranged to meet Neil Tomlinson of the
electrical shop at 9am tomorrow in 66 to establish
our need for backup power for the Pronet fiber
optic and router equipment.
Assuming the shutdown really takes place, we will
transfer our network equipment to the emergency
power system on Friday and return it to commercial
power on Monday.
