A more precise report and duplication:
SIMM (module number) = 7
Hard error
Byte in error (0-3) = 0
data bit error
Hard errors for this SIMM = 1
Physical address of error = 0xe4f2ec
Exception PC = 0x8011ac90
Virtual address of error = 0xc36482ec
(the numbers are from scribbling on a piece of paper. The text is from
the kernel executable...)
To duplicate the error:
boot (single user)
fsck
. /etc/rc
/simm_test
(for some reason merely running /simm_test from single user
mode doesn't trigger the failure.)
