The problem Richard reported last night authenticating to Moira is a
known problem which has already been fixed in the development sources.
The problem is that any database deadlocks are lock timeout errors
during authenticate are not being properly reported. It seldom
happens and things will generally work if you try again. For this
reason, I'm not planning on fixing it on the real server until we get
to testing the 7.0 release and I need the new server for its other
features.
