A workstation in m2-225 can't run MATLAB

m2-225-13 reports the error:

m2-225-13:~/> matlab -tty
Could not load program /mit/matlab/rsaixbin/matlab42.x
Symbol _XmStrings in sh is undefined
Error was: Exec format error
... then I tried just typing matlab,
and the same thing happened that I described
originally: the frame for the new window comes up,
but when I click to place it, it just disappears.
I switched to another workstation in the cluster
and everything was fine.
