workstation m11-116-9 does not boot. Symptoms/condition:
- power switch on back of machine is on
- LED on front of machine is off
- display is blank with the exception of a reverse-video text cursor in the
bottom-left-hand corner of the screen
- upon powercycle, the machine whirrs, the LED lights briefly, and
eventually the machine reaches the previously described stable state.
