machine host id confusion

Hi,
I am on a machine that does not know its name.
When you do hostname, it gives you the wrong thing.
I suppose this is because it is a newly installed
Sparc 5. It thinks it is an IBM RS-6000 in the
other room. This is probably true for many of the
machines in this room.
I am at m37-312-4 (18.78.0.23). This is the 4th machine
on the riser, farthest from the wall in this room.
When you do hostname, it says it is:m37-332-4 (18.78.0.55).
Just thought you'd like to know!
