Main Group Electrical Shutdowns

Physical Plant would like to notify the community of electrical
shutdowns that are scheduled for this weekend in the main group
beginning this evening at 7 pm. The details are as follows:
3 (north & south wing), 1 & 5-234 - 8/11, 7pm thru midnight
8/14 (53 hours total)
3 (infinite corridor), 11 & 7-4th flr - 8/11, 7pm thru 8/12 7am
(12 hours total)
1, 3, 8 (480V lab power only) & 5-234 - 8/12, 7am thru 11pm
(16 hours total)
1, 3, 8 (480V lab power only) & 5-234 - 8/19, 7 am thru 11pm
(16 hours total)
1, 3, 8 (480V lab power only) & 5-234 - 8/26, 7am thru 11pm
(16 hours total)
I want to assure everyone that the normal shutdown procedure
has been followed. Considering the magnitude of these shutdowns, we
wanted to get the word out in as many forms as possible. We have also
had postings put up in the main group and will be putting a recorded
message on the Physical Plant Emergency Information Line, 3-1300.
Please pass this information on to your department personnel.
