This message certainly does not pertain to everyone on the
"plant-notify list" mostly to the Main Group Community".
We thought it important to inform individuals that
in Killian Court one of the Elm Trees is diseased with
DUTCH ELM DISEASE WHICH IS HIGHLY INFECTIOUS TO THE OTHER ELMS
AND MUST BE REMOVED ASAP!
Bartlett Tree Experts on Thursday will drench between the diseased
tree and the other Elm Tree towards Building 10 to insure it has not
spread into the root system. The tree will be removed no later than
Friday of this week.
THE TREE WILL BE REPLACED IN THE SPRING.
Please direct any others questions you may have to Norm Magnuson,
Grounds Services 3-6350.
