I was notified around 19:15 in regards to a burning smell around the directors
area 3rd floor. I have responded to the area in question, and have notified
Physical Plant. I believe I have discovered the problem, which has been
confirmed by Physical Plant. Someone was burning Hanukkah candles in a
nearby area. This being the last day of Hanukkah, all 8 candles were lit.
These candles were not left unattended, and have now finished burning.
Case closed at 19:30..
