Subject: implant 36-576 reading DOS
A user named Andrew Allen called 1410 to say a Sparc5 he just got is
having a problem reading DOS, it does then it bombs out around 800k on
floppy. When he uses that same floppy on a PC it reads it ok.
He think it may be a problem with the drive.
Joe said not to service this because they declined On-Site warranty with
Sun, and also they have not paid the Athena fee for it to get triaged,
and this was a private purchase system. So they will have to deal
directly with SUN on their own.
I will give a call back.
