I was going to bring a Sparc 5 over to 66-080-22 and start swapping parts
but, The only model 600-3498s I could find were ones in anchor pads. I
didn't want to mess up anyones deloy.
So, I trouble shot it as best I could. I swapped monitor, keyboard &
mouse. Also I removed the floppy and CD ROM drive. The machine did
the same thing. I'm sure it is the CPU, System board or Power supply.

problem;
Monitor gets a quick image then blinks out. CPU power
light goes out. Power supply fans keep spinning.

Note; I gave 1410 and my number as the contact number.
I gave my address to ship parts to.
A Sun engineer will call back to verbally verify bad
part and ship it.
The machines from the Heinz building are still under
warranty till July 1. That means parts swap via mail
with Sun
