can someone check the temperature controls in the HST cluster on
the first floor of building e25? this room is boiling and i imagine it
can't be too good for all the computer equipment...
also, as a suggestion...maybe on of the options that appear on the
initial "welcome to athena" windows when one sits down to log in should be
"send a report to hardware hotline". there have been so many times where
i log into a machine and it doesn't work but it gives me a message that
says "blah blah, notify athena hardware hotline"...well, i would if i could
find another terminal to log into and send you guys email...so it would be
nice to just be able to send you a short notice from the log in window.
maybe you could have a checklist of things we check off, and then you get a
report of the machine # we sent it from and the checklist we filled out?
whatever works best...
