The CPU on trevor ( a DEC 5000 in 3-462) is not doing math correctly,
and needs to be replaced. If you would like to verify this, do the following:
add fortran
paranoia
This runs a c program that evaluates arithmetic behavior. The workstation
trevor is diagnosed as having unacceptable Serious Defects.
