Greg and I would like to request that the SGI in Katie's office be
reinstalled to the version of software that is running in the field so that
we can test out how third party software requested by faculty runs on an XZ
machine under IRIX 5.2. That will give us some idea of whether it's just the
demos that break under these conditions, or whether the problem is more
serious.
