Hello. I do not know where this message should go, so I am sending it here.
Please point me to the proper people to contact, if there are any.
The reason I am writing is because I am quite peeved. I was sitting at
a Sun in the student center (w20-575-95), and when I rolled my chair
backwards to reach my backpack, a was rudely awaked by a loud ripping
noise coming from my crotch area. OK, so it might not be as bad as it
sounds, but what happened is that my pants got caught on a nice sharp
corner of the table and ripped a clean hole right through them. This
corner is right where the table was cut away to put a keyboard tray.
Right in the middle of the table. These corners are typically covered
by foam rubber, but this particular one was not. I, for one, remember
watching these trays being installed. I seem to remember the
undersides of the tables being cut away with a power hacksaw. It is
this nice, sharp, serrated corner that cut away a nice clean hole in
my pants.
I am wondering who I can petition to for a reimbursement for my pants.
It may be a good idea to fix the foam rubber too. Thanks.
