We hope this update will improve the performance of these servers, and of Athena's AFS service as a whole. The regular weekly restart of all Athena AFS servers takes the whole athena cell[*] out of commission from about 6-6:15am on Sunday, anyway, so we'll do what we can to make this outage no more obtrusive than the usual one. [* The athena "cell" is the collection of AFS servers that work as a team.] To determine where a locker resides, type this at the athena% prompt: add consult ; lookup mylocker where "mylocker" is the name of the locker in question.
