Jerry and I were working on a net/hardware problem
in 7-231 with Gina. The afflicted system was alberti
a dec5k m25, after some trouble shooting I have ascertained
the problem to be with the aui cable and possibly the
the dual transciever. I have cut the aui cable up into
little bits and replaced it with one from JB also I have
swap'd out the dual and will give back to JB as soon as
I reach bldg 10. This was a Deans WWW server so it was
imperitive that full effort was given to getting this
piece of equipment back up and functioning.
I have given Gina my card just in case this problem comes
back.
Also I tied up all loose cables under the desk (as BM knows
I like to do), so hopefully there will be no dowm time due
to foot kickage.
